Thomas is joined by a 120 strong children's choir from North Devon, England with a Budapest Symphony Orchestra. Written by Thomas, his composer brother Oliver and Italian composer Fabrizio Mancinelli and mixed and mastered by a team who have worked with artists such as Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Celine Dion.
'The Stars' is an original song celebrating the strength of how unique and special we all are, or can be, and how together we can light the darkness; each child drawing their own star, which can be seen on the artwork cover. 'The Stars' combines Italian and English lyrics in a cinematic, immersive, almost ‘Disney' like feel that gives goosebumps to the listener with its uplifting harmonies.
"I wanted the children to experience something new and how to take it from concept and rehearsal to a professional recording, so I suggested Oliver and I write a song, where they could perform with me. I'm just so proud of them; not only did they handle the pressure of their voices being recorded, they were on camera during the whole day and they filled the room with their joy and energy. They are superstars!"
